About Our Company
LGI Business Advisors is a locally owned and independently operated business brokerage firm established in 1992 to better serve Central Missouri's business community. Jeff Guinn, President has been active in Columbia MO business community for many years. Guinn was a Past Executive Board Member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Council, Former Fellow of the IBBA, lectured on small business at both Columbia College and Mizzou.
On a personal level, Guinn has been married to his wife Kim for 35 years, they have 3 children, John graduated from Missouri State and working in St. louis, Luke graduated from Missouri State University and lives in Alabama and is working in insurance, Kate is a red shirt junior scholarship softball player studying business at Columbia College, will be earning her MBA. All 3 are graduates of Tolton Catholic High School where Guinn had been active in volunteer fundraising for the school for many years.
Kim and Jeff have owned 3 different franchises, Signs Now (now called Image 360, Sport Clips and Right at Home Senior Care. All 3 were very successful and were sold and continue to be successful to this day. Signs Now was sold 25 years ago, Sport Clips 8 years ago and Right at Home was sold in 2026.
